CHRISTMAS IN THE AMALFI COAST

This past Christmas was the best Christmas I’ve ever had. On December 23, my boyfriend proposed to me in the most romantic way! Then on Christmas Eve, we travelled from Taormina in Sicily, to the Amalfi Coast!

Christmas in the Amalfi Coast was magical. I couldn’t believe I was in Italy with the love of my life on Christmas. My fiancé had booked us at a beautiful room at the NH Collection Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi. Our view overlooked all of Amalfi!

On Christmas Eve, we ordered room service and watched some Christmas Movies! We also opened one present (which is a Christmas tradition in our family) and every time it is a brand new set of Christmas PJs!

Christmas Day was so fun! We got up early and opened our stockings. We then went for breakfast on the terrace overlooking Amalfi and the ocean. A Christmas feast! We went back to our beautiful room and FaceTimed our families while we opened our presents.

After all that excitement, we decided to get dressed and paint the town red (and green!). Exploring Amalfi was amazing! One thing to keep in mind, however, is that many stores were closed because it was Christmas Day - so be sure to book a few days before and/or after Christmas Day if you want to do some shopping! And also be sure to book your favorite restaurant in advance so you can get some great seats for Christmas Feast!

The Amalfi Coast was just beautiful. I am definitely coming back… but next time it will be in the Summer!
